Datuk Ir. Chiong Chee Kin is the Founder and Managing Director of Perunding JPC Sdn Bhd. He has more than 45 years of experience in civil and structural engineering since graduating with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 1980.

Datuk Ir. Chiong began his career in the public sector, serving with the Drainage and Irrigation Department (now Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran) and subsequently with Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. He later joined Minconsult Sdn Bhd where he continued to build his expertise in civil and structural engineering.

In 1989, he established Jurutera Perunding Cekap. The firm was subsequently incorporated as a private limited company in 2006 and rebranded as Perunding JPC Sdn Bhd marking a significant milestone in its growth and professional presence within the industry.

Demonstrating strong vision and adaptability, Datuk Ir Chiong led the firm’s expansion into precast structural systems in 2018, becoming a trusted engineering consultant for large-scale precast developments.

Continuing this trajectory, he spearheaded Perunding JPC’s entry into PPVC (Prefinished Prefabricated Volumetric Construction) high-rise design in 2024, positioning the firm at the forefront of modern industrialised building technologies in Malaysia.
